Frank R. Barile III is a Painter/Illustrator available for Commission , Freelance , Conceptual Design , Art Therapy and Psychological Analysis . (non professional of course)
Born on the 11th of September, an only child, Frank relied on his imagination to pass the many hours he spent alone in his 6x6 bedroom. At 6 years of age his talents were recognized by his kindergarten teacher, and he was asked to design the back drop for his school play. The play was about dinosaurs, Frank’s first obsession in life. His original designs were considered too scary, but he toned down the amount of blood pouring from the Tyranosaurus Rex's razor toothed mouth. He did his edits and then, in record time, proceeded to complete the 6 foot mural by himself with just a rough sketch and a natural ability for creation. Everyone was impressed at what a 6 year old had made with just Poster Paint and cheap brushes. i2.photobucket.com/albums/y10/dagethighknight/DSC_0235.jpg
This mural was the beginning of an artistic journey that has taken him many places physically and metaphysically, shaping his style and giving him the determination to be the most original artist that he can be. Twenty-seven years later, Frank has had gallery shows from East to West and sold his works all over the world. He lives with his wife Rachel and two dogs Foxy and Dixon on the North Shore of Staten Island.
